Media Aetas Scoring Studio is a musical department of Media Aetas, brand of Andrea Casagrande and Giovanna Senatore with main office in Cork (Ireland). Andrea Casagrande, Score Composer (Full Member of IFTA) is the manager of our Scoring Studio that creates musical scores on request for feature films / short films, teasers, trailers and advertising. We work closely in collaboration with directors, editors and producers for independent productions or larger works with any kind of budget. We are craftsmen when it comes to composition, which means that we translate and express images, characters and moods into music. We are convinced that there is music in your imagination already and will only make it audible for you. Music is one of the main parts of a story because images without music seem and feel empty. In fact, music itself is filled with images and all we need to do to see them is to close our eyes and let us be carried away by the listening.
Andrea is a gifted composer. His music will move your inner being.
Andrea is truly professional, innovative, Creative, dedicated, capable and I highly recommend him.
Casagrande’s music is a music of the past. Working with him brings you to a higher level of art. It is very sensitive, intelligent and reliable.
When the Studio was set up we invested in the equipment that would be most suitable to our method of work, carefully selecting every single piece and item that make up the working space, ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability. We continue investing in order to make sure we rely only on the most up-to-date tools that would guarantee high performance and the highest quality required by the sector and industry standards. During the creative process of the composition we demand from ourselves creation of the highest quality of sound and performance that our experience helps us combine into one with the final result matching our highest professional standards and desires of our clients. We rely on the best internationally recognised hardware and software programmes, which allow us to pursue our professional endeavours with calm and concentration on the final objective, that is to be able to offer you more than what you would have expected.
